About the Role
Our client is seeking a committed and motivated individual to join their team as a Commercial Electrical Service Technician. The primary purpose of this role is to be an Electrical Service Technician across NSW tending to client’s break/fix and preventative maintenance requirements. Reporting to the Project Manager, the candidate should have the ability to execute works and supervise junior personnel on a range of projects based throughout NSW. The candidate should present well, be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude, work well under pressure and take great pride in their work and customer satisfaction.
  
Key responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and rectifying UPS and cabling faults (power & comms)
• Executing minor works base projects
• Conducting preventative maintenance of electrical equipment on customer sites (UPS, switchboards, generators)
• Maintain and uphold safety standards
• Document and submit job reports accurately and on time

  
To be successful for this role you must have the following:

• Strong ability to troubleshoot and find faults
• Be self-motivated, proactive and take great pride in your work
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ability to travel and work ‘out of trade’ hours as required
• Intermediate computer skills
• Drivers license
• Industry white card
• NSW Electrical License or equivalent
• Open Cabler Registration (or be ready and willing to obtain this)
• Cabling vendor certifications TE, Commscope, Siemon (not required but highly desirable)
• UPS and commercial/retail sector experience (not required but highly desirable)
