About us
Pal-Tech Services is a privately-owned electrical, data, and telecommunications service maintenance organisation that has a number of site offices throughout Queensland. A position exists to join the Cairns team of field service technicians performing electro-mechanical service work in a wide range of commercial sites across North Queensland.
Current service contracts include (but are not limited to) providing installation and maintenance services to companies such as Tatts Group, Telstra and Tabcorp.
About you
The successful applicant must be self-motivated, able to manage his or her own time, well presented, possess an interest and/or experience servicing electro-mechanical equipment, and hold a current open manual Queensland drivers licence. Flexibility is highly valued and the successful applicant must be available for on-call work and occasional travel to surrounding districts and potentially short term work in other Queensland centres.
Skill & Experience
You must hold a current Queensland electrical licence. Certificate III in Telecommunications and an open cabling licence with endorsements is beneficial but not necessary. Applicants without an electrical licence will not be considered for this role.
Applicants will be provided on-the-job training and will have opportunities to pursue further skill development and education while with the company.
Wages
A starting remuneration package will be dependent upon the successful applicant’s prior knowledge and related experience. Details and structure of the remuneration package is negotiable. Base package starts at $56,000.00 plus vehicle and phone.
