Jobs Purpose: To provide customer service to visitors and contractors alike whilst maintaining a security presence at the gatehouse.

To be considered:

• Valid NSW Security Licence

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Valid Security Certificate 2

• Entitlement to work in Australia i.e. Birth certificate or an Australian Passport

Key Activities
 

• Checking ID cards of persons entering the facility
• Maintains security and safety for assigned areas
• Provide information and direction, explain rules and regulations
• Operating and monitoring security control panel alarms, and related security equipment to provide area and visitor surveillance
• Maintain logs and record occurrences, complete necessary paperwork

Skills and attributes:

• Minimum of 1 year security experience working in the security industry (pref in a Gatehouse role)

• Understanding and hands on experience in all areas of Security Operations

• Computer Literacy – intermediate to advanced

• Understanding of OH&S

• Strong customer focus

• Highly developed communication skills

• Flexibility in work hours including working 12 hour shifts / 4 on 4 off rotating roster

• Ability to work autonomously

• Ability to conform to company policy as well as Site Standing Operating Procedures and instructions
