Kanga Loaders are the original manufacturer of the stand on skid steer Loader and have been continuously developing the product range for over 35 years.
We are a highly customer focused global company seeking that special someone to join our service team located in Dandenong. You will be working alongside other Service Technicians to gain your knowledge and training, as well as receiving ongoing support from other key members in the branch.
You will be a mechanically minded person who has the ability to assemble and disassemble a wide range of machines and attachments and not be afraid to get your hands dirty. You will be a highly energetic person that takes pride in their work and their working environment to maintain the standards set out by Kanga. Product knowledge in mini loaders and earthmoving attachments will be an advantage, as is an understanding of hydraulics and electrical circuits. You will receive on the job training but will need to have the ability to follow instructions, learn quickly and work both supervised and unsupervised in order to meet customer's demands.
Key Responsibilities;
- Build positive and effective relationships with all stakeholders and clients by providing technical expertise
- Carrying out machinery repairs in the workshop and occasional field service repairs
- Devise test procedures and supervise test activities
- Completion of all paperwork relating to the completion of jobs, including timesheets, service reports and other required information.
- Provide quality customer service at all times
- Physically and mentally fit for the day to day challenges and continual deadlines
- You must be able to think on your feet and display a high level of integrity, honesty, reliability and confidentiality at all times
Essential Criteria:
- A valid Forklift Licence
- LR Truck Licence
- At least 2 years’ experience working on plant machinery or similar
- Relevant Australian trade qualification
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to Diagnose, fault find and advise accordingly
- Sufficient Computer skills
- Good WHS Awareness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
