-Time Housekeeper / Nanny

About the Role

I am looking for a responsible, organized and reliable helper who has the experience necessary to care for my home and assist me with my two young boys aged 7 & 9. We are a happy and loving family, based in Malvern. The position is live-in for 3 days per week. You will have your own bedroom as well as limited use of a fully expensed car.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable caring for children and competent in keeping a clean and organized home.  The house keeping duties include things such as grocery shopping, cooking, tidying, organizing cupboards, staying on top of dishes and laundry which will include ironing, folding and putting away clothing as well as general errands for the family.  Some meal planning and preparation will also be required.  As well, there will be planning for the kids educational and recreational needs. There is a cleaner that comes weekly.

It is important that you love what you do, and that it shows in your work.  Ideally you will be someone who can commit to a long-term role in this position.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Preparing meals during the week

Household chores and light cleaning of internal and external areas.

Care for children when I am out

Skills and Experience
Knowledge in nutrition and a love for preparing healthy meals

Valid Working with Children Check (Or willing to obtain)

Education or Child Care Qualifications will be treated with priority

Valid Criminal History Check (Or willing to obtain)

Experience as a Nanny and in child supervision

Be honest and willing to stay long-term

Be positive, self-motivated and confident

A driver's license is preferred
