THE POSITION
We are seeking Experienced Security Officers who have crowd control experience, great customer service back ground and good communication skills for various positions working in the transport industry. The successful applicants MUST be available to work night shifts as these roles are night shift only working 8 hours shifts.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor or Operations Manager, these positions will be responsible for a range of duties including general security, access control, asset surveillance, alarm response and control room operation duties depending on which site the successful applicants are placed.
As a Security Officer you must be able to walk for long periods, enjoy a variety of duties and have outstanding personal presentation and customer service skills. The primary functions of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing high quality frontline customer service and support;
- Risk identification and issue resolution;
- The ability and confidence to work on your own.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To be considered for an opportunity with Wilson Security, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
- Current NT Security License and valid First Aid Certificate;
- Proven previous Security Officer Experience (Preferred);
- Availability to work Night shifts
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal);
- Basic computer skills;
- Professional personal presentation;
- Proven experience in conflict resolution;
- Good administration skills;
- Must have Driver’s Licence and own transport
- Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia;
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
