Position Purpose:

JCB CEA in Larapinta is looking for a Service Technician to help service and repair both new and used equipment in the workshop, in an efficient and timely manner. This is an exciting, challenging and dynamic role in an ever changing industry within a rapidly growing company, offering competitive remuneration.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Servicing and maintaining machinery under warranty.
• All online training modules are completed and maintained as needed.
• Diagnose Hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults.
• Uploading of all data logs, computers, pictures and other relevant information.
• Diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service in the workshop.
• Ensuring machinery is serviced as per JCB guidelines and carried out in a timely manner.
• Ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and customers as well as reporting any safety incidents or concerns to the Service Manager.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven ability to maintain construction equipment and machinery.
• Trade qualifications including Mechanical, Hydraulic, Auto Electrical.
• Must have ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend solutions.
• Must have Industry experience in Heavy Plant Equipment.
• Have a sound understanding and willingness to embrace working within a strong safety culture.
• Ability to complete repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Self-starter with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Positive can-do attitude.
