Due to an internal restructure, an opportunity exists for a highly motivated Field Service Manager to join our Technical Support Team.

Coordinating and Managing a small Team of Technicians, the Field Service Manager is responsible for the timely and professional delivery of Service, Support and Small Project Works to both our New and Existing Customers, across the areas of Radio Paging, Nurse Call, Access Control, Security and CCTV.

 

Because we have a significant Customer Database, and work within the Critical Messaging, and Security, space the individual we seek must be highly motivated to respond to, and coordinate the required resources for, each job that is allocated to their department.

 

While this is mostly a Managerial and Supervisory position, it is truly a “Hands-On” role; meaning the Field Service Manager will, from time-to-time, and as required, grab their tools and go out to assist their Team Members with a job or perform the required works themselves; in order to, once again, ensure timely completion for our Customers.

 

As there will be a considerable amount of direct Customer contact and communication in this role, the successful Candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to deal with people at all levels. In addition, the Field Service Manager will work very closely with the National Support Team, the Sales Team and the Projects Team.

 

A good working knowledge of Security and CCTV Systems is required, and ongoing training and support will be provided, both in our chosen Security and CCTV products and, of course, in Xacom’s own proprietary Systems.
