About our Client

Our Client has a workshop in the beautiful Mackay Harbour area and predominately performs Welding and Fabrication on  Mining, Transportation, Civil and Agricultural machinery.

About the Role

Long term opportunities exist for Trade Qualified Boilermakers or qualified welders who will contribute to the successful outcomes of a local Mackay based workshop.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Welding/Fabricating of dump truck bodies, transport trailers
• Repairing of Agricultural equipment
• Ability to follow strict design specifications
• Working with various steel materials
• Assembly and labouring

Skills/Experience

• Trade Certificate
• Ideally you will have previous experience in an engineering workshop
• Be capable of welding or fabricating
• Available for an immediate start
• Confidence using hand & power tools
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current Crane Ticket holder is an advantage
