Our service is based in South Townsville
The opportunity
Alliance Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced cleaner with demonstrated knowledge of and exposure to health and/or disability services. This is a full time role.
About you
The ideal candidate should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. Strong organisational skills and the willingness to jump into any task at hand will also contribute to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures high standards of cleanliness across all facilities daily
- Maintain an excellent working knowledge of cleaning protocols and procedures
- Ensure the good order and appearance of all participant facilities
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with facility policies and the privacy act.
- Use appropriate infection control procedures, maintain a tidy and safe facility and free from hazards
- Behave in a manner which is welcoming to and of the individual, is non-judgemental and respects their circumstances, feelings priorities and rights
Essential Requirements of the Role
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current federal police check
- Positive notice (working with children check), Queensland Blue Card
- Unrestricted Drivers licence, Provisional or Open
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in a health related role
- Comfort with computer systems
