About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced maintenance/service Electrician to join our BSA | Maintain division in ACT.
You will be responsible for servicing, repairs and testing of portable fire equipment, fire detection and evacuation systems to the relevant standards and undertake fault finding electrical installs and minor repair works
About Your Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct testing and inspection of all fire services
- Complete Emergency / Exit light repairs
- Carry out Smoke alarm/detection repairs
- Complete electrical upgrade work
- Complete repairs of fire detection systems
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Qualified electrician
- Current and unencumbered Driver's license
- OH & S General Induction White Card
- Experience in the fire industry desirable but not essential
- Report writing using Word & Excel
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
