THE ROLE
Our client an established retail and maintenance pool service provider is seeking an additional pool technician trainee to join their team.
This role is ideally suited to a proactive, customer service professional who is interested in working in a genuinely relaxed and friendly small team atmosphere.
The position is a full time role with some weekend work required.
As all training is provided for the new Technician the main key attributes of the successful applicant will be their exceptional interpersonal skills and their high work ethic.
Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:-
- Demonstrated work history in customer service roles
- Excellent communication and presentation required
- Ability to up-sell and understanding of KPI's
- Current valid driver's license. All applicants must have a minimum of two years driving experience to be considered.
- Be physically fit to undertake some lifting of up to 25 kgs.
- Willingness to work as part of a cohesive team.
- Ability to work autonomously and to be flexible in an ever changing work environment.
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Be proactive, committed and focused on client care.
- Be honest and well mannered. Have a genuine happy disposition and approachable personality.
- Be committed to safe work practices and procedures.
- Enjoy additional responsibility and taking ownership.
This role will encompass the maintenance requirements and servicing of the clients pool and product needs along with offering general support and assistance where required in store with general retail enquiries, customer service and pool water testing.
