About the business and the role

An exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking organization.

Bluewood Industries is a large family owned plantation harvesting company. Operations began in January 2005 initially concentrating on harvesting Eucalyptus Globulus, more commonly known as Blue Gum in the Albany region. Bluewood Industries now enjoys contracts with ABP, WAPRES and PF Olsen servicing Albany and the South West.

The business has grown substantially over the years and has developed a solid reputation for safety, quality and reliability. We pride ourselves in providing outstanding service to our customers by creating stable working relationships.

We are currently transitioning through an exciting period of change and an excellent opportunity has arisen to join our management team in the role of Workshop Manager.

We are looking for a leader that has an extensive knowledge base in the mechanical industry. You could be ready to make the change from being a successful mechanical supervisor and require a new challenge. Perhaps you seek an employer that values its people and encourages their development and rewards their performance.

"Quality, productivity, environmental consideration and providing a safe and positive working environment to employees" are just a few of the commitments we make to our clients and staff.

If you have an eye for detail, have experience in leading a team and do so with a healthy management style, and have experience in managing a workshop (forestry experience preferred but not essential) we would like to speak with you.

We invite you to express your interest with us today with an opportunity to join a company that has an exciting future ahead.

All applications shall remain confidential.
