We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic and customer focused individual to take on the role of Yard Person, based at our Laverton branch.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Team Leader – Rental Services this person will be responsible for maintaining the yard, coordinating deliveries, managing various aspects of equipment rental and assisting with the preparation of rental equipment.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Detailing and preparation of equipment for rent.
- Maintaining the yard and yard storage in a clean and orderly state.
- Completing incoming check lists for machines and attachments.
- Coordinating inwards and outwards goods for service.
- Carrying out daily security checks on machines in yard.
- Ensuring that the workplace is clean and safe, and that all quality assurance procedures are followed
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role we are looking for the following skills, experience & attributes:
- Mechanical ability / aptitude (essential to this role)
- Previous experience with heavy earthmoving equipment
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to handle several tasks simultaneously
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
