Lindsay Transport is now entering its seventh decade in operation and is one of the largest transporters of fresh produce in Australia. Lindsay Transport specialises in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres. With over 300 prime movers and 500 trailers the maintenance of this large fleet is vital to the safe operation and transportation of freight across Australia. 

Our many company workshops have state of the art technology and equipment and our vehicle exchange program ensures we maintain one of the most modern and newest fleets on the road. We are looking for hardworking and reliable mechanics who currently hold a light vehicle qualification but are looking to up-skill and work on Heavy vehicles.

he primary duties of the role will include;

• Repair, replace, maintain and test a high volume of company vehicles and related mechanical and electrical components
• Completing work in a safe and efficient manner
• Servicing vehicles in line with company servicing schedule
• Assisting with rebuilds as required
• Accurate completion of all paperwork associated with fleet maintenance and repair
