Chandler Macleod are currently sourcing Experienced and Qualified Mechanical Fitters & Boilermakers for full-time positions to work within a heavy industrial environment. We are also looking for operators such as excavator operators, skid steer operators, construction labourers and concreters! These roles are permanent opportunities for an Australian based company, with over 30 years of experience within Quarry and Mining Solutions. Our Client specialises in fixed and mobile plant maintenance and are also offering overtime on top of full-time hours and weekend work if wanted!
We are currently looking for the staff full-time in the below locations:
- Rockbank & Epping
- Wollert
- Wyndham Vale
- Lysterfield
We also have position vacant for staff in the South East, North and West on all shifts so if you have the below experience please apply ASAP!
Duties will include
- Undertaking regular maintenance on fixed plant including screens and crushers
- Assist with break downs
- Follow process and procedures in relation to checking maintenance work
- Trouble shooting
- Undertake hot works and follow hot permit process
The successful candidate will need to be,
- Trade qualified
- A minimum of 2 years experience in fixed plant maintenance (preferably in the mining or quarry industry)
- White / red card is required
- Good knowledge of crushers, screeners, conveyors, gearboxes & bearings
- Have own hand tools (desirable)
