Our client based in Bowen is seeking an experience Fitter to join their team.

• 4 on 3 off roster
• Excellent Team Culture

This position is for an immediate start local works in the Bowen area, no accommodation or meal provided.

The right applicant for this role will successfully carry out machine maintenance and operating tasks associated the core business infrastructure works to achieve optimum reliability and operations performance. Based in Bowen this position provides great exposure into rail operations.

• Carry out day to day operations and maintenance
• Must be able to work overtime if required

• Contribute to maximum machine availability by efficient maintaining servicing, repairing and perform approved modifications on any infrastructure mainline machinery.
• Operator any of the on track' infrastructure machinery when qualified
• Communicate & report any maintenance requirements in a timely & effective manner.
• Carry out works in accordance to Companies Zero Harm and Workplace Health and Safety compliance.

To be considered for the local role you must:-

• Hold a Trade Qualification - Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Current Drivers Licence
• High level of skills in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant and equipment
• Min 2-3years experience as a maintenance fitter
• Able to pass a Drug screen
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical
• Available for immediate start
