About the Role
  
We now have opportunities for experienced, qualified and capable Field Service Fitters to join our Field Service Department.  Mine site experience will be highly regarded, as these positions will be required to work at various mine site locations within the Central Queensland region.  Experience working on traditional Caterpillar equipment will be advantageous. Ideally you will be currently residing within the Rockhampton/Southern Bowen Basin areas. A Monday to Friday or 9 day fortnight rosters compliment these positons.
  
In this varied role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining Caterpillar mining equipment
• Support a variety of customers and ensure they receive the highest quality service, for their Caterpillar machinery
• Identify and develop continuous improvement initiatives utilising the Caterpillar Production System methodology
• Develop accurate service reports
• Drive safety initiatives and strategies to improve safety performance 

About You
  
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role: 

• Trade qualified Mechanical/Diesel Fitter with with at least 3 years' demonstrated experience with Caterpillar machinery/equipment
• Strong computer skills
• Maintain a high level of workplace health and safety
• Experience on Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems (ET, SIMSi and SIS)
• Experience on Caterpillar Electric drive trucks and associated systems
• Your ability to work under pressure during peak periods is essential
• Well-developed communication skills
• The ability to work within a team and autonomously
• Caterpillar dealership and mine site experience will be highly regarded
• Currently residing within the local Rockhampton/Southern Bowen Basin area
