Specialised Industrial Maintenance is a growing Australian company who offers coating solutions in a variety to industries and environments throughout Australia.
We are seeking a self-motivated person with a "can do" attitude and good common sense, who is keen to join our team in Wollongong/Illawarra and surrounding area. View to full-time employment for the right person
Your duties and responsibilities may include: -
- Ceramic protective coating application by roller, trowel, brush and spray
- Abrasive blasting
- Assisting with the preparation of jobs
- Maintaining a safe, clean work environment
- Working away from base for short term assignments, if required on customer sites
- Some away work may be required from time to time
Applicants must possess the following essential attributes: -
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Take pride in your work, with good attention to detail
- Be well presented and spoken to represent our company
- Be in good physical health
- Good verbal communicator
- Able to follow written and verbal instruction and complete task unsupervised
- Problem solving skills
- Show initiative and a willingness to learn
- Currents Drivers Licence with own vehicle
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
- A commitment to safe work operations
The following qualities / licences are highly desirable but not essential: -
- Experience in a similar or related trade
- Forklift Licence
- Confined Space Training
- Working at Heights
- Construction / White Card
- Other tickets
Good hourly rates with all training and development provided.
