Primary Purpose of the Position

• Carry out electrical preventive maintenance activities with the maintenance team
• Carry out breakdown services
• Assist contractors
• Provide a range of electrical services to factory plant and equipment
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are recorded and inputted

Key Accountabilities

• Evaluate department processes and recommend changes as required
• Assist in resolving complex or out of policy maintenance problems
• Provide a safe working environment
• Ensure and assist in the department meeting productivity and quality goals
• Ensure and facilitate communication between the department and the supervisors, managers and staff of other departments
• Ensure that a high standard of house keeping is maintained
• Promote Safety Culture and awareness
• Ensure 100% compliance with all policies and procedures
• Encourage a proactive culture taking part in committees and teams as department representative

 Requirements

• Australian Electrical Trade qualification a MUST
• Ability to work within a team environment and on your own
• Day Hourly rate $34.00 per hour + OT 
• Temp - Permanent Position after 6 months
