MK2 Recruitment are currently seeking experienced truck mechanics for our clients in the eastern suburbs.Our client, a well known transport company located in Hazelmere and operates one of the largest fleets in Australia. They are seeking two HD Mechanics to join their team on day shift roles. We also have a number of other roles commencing immediately!

Working from a large and well equipped workshop you will be working on prime movers including the trailers (for work on brakes). Workshop is mainly service based.
Work will include:

• all aspects of servicing and repairs to prime movers
• engine diagnostics
• diffs
• clutches
• gearboxes
• brakes

The working week is Mon to Fri 0700 to 1630 and Saturdays are optional (although required from time to time) which is 7am to 1pm. Extra hours are available for those who want longer shifts.

Candidates need to have an Australian recognized trade certificate and also must be able to pass a DAS test.

These roles will offer permanency for the right candidates.
