We are seeking a high performing Komori A1 Press Operator to join our experienced Print team in Knoxfield. In this position you will be operating either the Komori A1 10 colour conventional and / or Komori A1 8 colour UV perfecting press to ensure that daily KPI's and customer quality and delivery expectations are met. Key to success in this position is the ability to work effectively and productively in a team of 2 to ensure that daily KPI's are met. Your previous experience operating in a high volume, tight turnaround offset sheet fed print environment will be beneficial to this role. The ability to coordinate work and troubleshoot technical issues will be relied upon to ensure that our customer turnaround time, productivity expectations and quality standards are met.
If you have previous 8-10 Colour Komori press experience gained within in a high volume environment then we would like to hear from you. If you are an experienced operator who has the ability to work flexibly in a team of 2 and are seeking the opportunity to work within a progressive, continuous improvement focused print manufacturing environment then we also welcome your interest.
- Qualified and / or experienced Offset sheet fed press operator
- Experience operating in a fast paced, high volume offset environment
- Experienced with the use of density and computer controlled conventional and UV printing devices
- Good computer literacy and ability to learn new technologies
- Good technical knowledge of Offset sheet fed print
- Ability to manage multiple print requirements across a range of products
- A forklift licence would be highly advantageous
- Proactive, solutions and customer focused
- Ability to work flexibly and be responsive to business and customer requirements
- Comfortable working within a lean & continuous improvement measurement culture
The shifts for this position are:
Day shift – 3 days per week, 6:00am – 6:00pm.
Days of the week rotate and include weekend shifts, flexibility is required.
