Kynaston Engineering is a machining and fabrication company located in Mackay and we are looking for motivated, career-driven and experienced Fitters and Turners and CNC Machinists.

If this sounds like a sweet gig, and you like the idea of living equal-distance between Brisbane and The Daintree, with the reef and the outback just a stone's throw away, then this might be for you.

You'll need:

• To be able to complete all machining and trade requirements, with extensive machining experience
• CNC Programming experience – It's not essential, but it'll give you a better chance!
• The ability to proficiently operate a manual lathe and milling machine using all associated tooling in a timely and efficient manner
• To be able to provide timely and accurate documentation and show an ability to clearly communicate with other members of the crew
• A commitment to ensuring all safety, quality, and environmental practices are managed and standards exceeded
• An understanding of safe operating procedures for all workshop gear
• An ability to read and interpret drawings and documentation such as procedure manuals, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Current Trade Certificates (which goes without saying, but you know we will need to see them!)
• A Current C-Class Driver's Licence
• A Forklift certificate and crane ticket would give you an edge as well.
• All the other usual things: Initiative, a solid work ethic, attention to detail, pride in your work, the ability to read a clock so you turn up on time, the ability to work autonomously as well as a member of a team and a well-presented, good-natured disposition helps too.

We offer a remuneration package up to $150K mark.
