Entire Concrete is a dynamic company providing concrete solutions to small, medium and large businesses throughout the Hunter Valley. Due to continued growth we are seeking an enthusiastic Heavy Diesel Mechanic that enjoys a challenge on a daily basis working with minimal supervision within a collaborative team environment. You will be responsible for the carrying out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs of all mechanical equipment across the entire range of heavy and light vehicle fleet, plant and equipment and will meet our NHVS requirement.
The successful applicant will be able to manage his apprentice and the workshop to ensure that the fleet is serviced and/or repaired and on the road. You will work in with the batcher to make sure all trucks are being serviced and repaired with minimal downtime and be able to manage maintenance around production. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic preferably with supervisory and management experience.

We are seeking:
- Trade Qualification in Automotive Mechanics Certificate 3 Heavy Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanic or similar accredited qualification
- A level of literacy and numeracy competence to ensure reading of job instructions, maintenance of records and reports
- Ability to communication effectively with other managers, apprentices and drivers
- Pro active person with ability to plan ahead to minimise downtime of plant and trucks in workshop
- Good problem solving skills
- Minimum 4 years practical experience in workshop operations (exclusive of apprenticeship)
- Must be able to do a reasonable amount of overtime
- HR Driver's licence
The successful applicant must be able to work as directed and follow Chain of Command and OHS obligations.
This is a large fleet with a variety of work and overtime available. The successful applicant will also need to pass a company medical including drug and alcohol testing.
To be considered for this position you must have experience in this type of role, excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, be a willing team player and have experience managing or supervising a workshop.
