About the role:
We are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated Service Technicians based in Sydney, Newcastle and Dubbo. Reporting to the National Operations Manager your primary responsibility is to achieve productivity levels as per agreed customer-generated reactive calls and to complete allocated planned maintenance activities.
The duties of this position include but are not limited to the installation and repair of Dental Chairs, Xray Units, Sterilisation Units, Thermal Disinfectors, Suction Units, Compressors, Intra Oral Cameras, Handpieces and associated equipment. The role will also involve the fit out of new surgeries.
The role is predominantly field based attending dental surgeries and medical clinics however may on occasion also include repairs and maintenance duties for equipment sent to our workshop.
Some travel including overnight stays will be required.
To be considered for this role you shall possess the following:
- Trade qualification – would suit a Refrigeration Mechanic, Instrument Fitter, Appliance Technician or Electrical Tradesperson (Highly Desirable)
- Restricted Electrical License (Desirable)
- Current, valid Motor Vehicle Drivers Licence
- Strong technical and operational skills
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- High attention to detail
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines without compromise to quality or service
- Proficient in the use of computers and software
