We currently have an opportunity within our VIC Service Team, for the position of Field Service Technician to service the Melbourne and surrounding suburb areas.
The overall scope of the role is to carry out servicing and repairs to customer and company owned Elevated Work Platform units and lighting towers in the field as well as in the workshop when requested.
The role will be responsible for but not limited to the below:
- Providing breakdown assistance, routine services and on-going maintenance to our existing and expanding customer base.
- Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs of elevating work platforms and lighting towers
- When attending to customer's sites make every effort to repair machines on site limiting the need to transport the machines off site
- Be available to travel including overnight accommodation when requested
- Completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by Australian Standards and also by customer and/or site requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential
You will be a part of a dynamic team dedicated and driven to ensure all internal and external customers are dealt with promptly and professionally.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated and possess good problem solving skills as well as have experience in electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems. Knowledge of elevated work platforms is desirable.
The successful applicant will be supplied with a fully equipped service vehicle & uniforms. Product training and support is also provided to ensure JLG has the highest standard of service expertise.
