Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific is currently seeking an experienced, energetic and reliable Groundsperson to join our Phillip Island team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the immaculate presentation of the external public areas of the resort.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, physical capability to carry out manual labor, and an understanding of resort operations.
The role:
In this role you will be responsible for the presentation of the external public areas of the resort; under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Duties include maintaining inventories and public areas, caring for equipment, assisting with the resort preventative maintenance program and assisting the gardener when required.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast paced environment.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Groundsperson
- Understanding of resort grounds and gardens maintenance and presentation.
- Experience using high pressure cleaner and working at heights
- Thorough understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles.
- Current First Aid Certificate and Drivers License.
- Trade qualifications not essential.
