Otis Elevator Company is the global leader in the manufacture, installation, service and modernisation of elevators, escalators and travelators.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated Service Technician to join our Sydney Metro service team.
If you are successful, you will be provided with a very competitive salary paid weekly, fortnightly RDO and a company vehicle.
Basic Functions
- Service role includes: maintaining, repair of and attend to elevator / escalator failures, on the range of products within our service portfolio.
- Trouble shooting technical faults and maintenance
- Aim to reduce call backs to ensure the best service and quality maintenance of our customers lifts
- Carry out minor modification and upgrade work as required.
- Participate in after hour on call roster.
To be successful in this role, you will display the following:
- Be a self-starter who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety policies and procedures.
- Good customer communication skills and well presented.
- Commitment to excellence, innovation and work ethics.
- Previous experience with working to tight timeframes.
The desired qualifications / experience for the position are:
- A current electrical license
- A current driver’s license
- A sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of elevators, escalators and travelators is highly desired but not essential if you have sound commercial electrical experience.
- Australian Working rights (VISA sponsorship will not be provided for this role)
