Machine Technician
Our client based in Scoresby, is a manufacturer of health oriented FMCGs, specialising in snack foods and breakfast cereal/muesli products. The business delivers this range of products to the Australian market via supply to proprietary and private label brands. The business offers flexible manufacturing services to external clients catering for low and high volume product lines.
They are looking for a Machine Technician to provide assistance and support with the setup, testing, monitoring and efficient running of the vertical flow wrappers, MEL cartoner, TNA, Klik Klok, the case fill packer and robotics in the Cereal and Bar line packing area, in line with Diver Foods Pty Ltd’s specifications in a timely, efficient, safe and effective manner.
This role is a temp to permanent position, commencing very soon!
The roles duties & responsisibilities will include but not be limisted to:
- To setup, test and pre -start test, the vertical flow wrappers to ensure that they are running efficiently as per product packaging specifications.
- Ensure correct rewind is used as per specifications and fine tune any variations if required. Flow wrapper to be set on auto once fine tuned.
- Setup, test, pre start test and monitor operation of TNA, MEL & Klik- Klok cartoners. All settings are manual on MEL cartoner and full understanding required of this equipment to fine tune.
- Set up, test and pre- start test case fill packer as per engineer’s requests. Case fill and Robotics to be placed on semi -automatic.
- Monitor vertical flow wrapper, TNA, MEL & Klik Klok cartoners, case fill packer and robotics to ensure bars are packaged as per specification in an efficient manner as per speed of line and wastage of packaging
- Providing support to the line supervisor or 2IC, to ensure that the bar line operates without downtime by ensuring that the vertical flow wrappers, TNA, MEL & Klik Klok cartoners, casefill packer and robotics run efficiently throughout the day
