The Opportunity
An opportunity exists within our Asset and Infrastructure Services division, for Wagon Maintainer’s to join the team based at our Nebo Train Support Facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspection work, out of course repairs
- Mobile field support to the Pacific National wagon fleet
- Respond to emergency recoveries on the rail network
- Ensure on time availability of rolling stock, including the introduction of new wagon and technologies
- Travel and accommodation from the Nebo base as operationally required
About You
Successful candidates will possess the following essential and desirable skills and attributes:
- Mechanical aptitude and well developed problem solving skills
- Basic to intermediate computer skills and good general literacy
- The ability to work in a shift work environment
- Experience within the rail industry is desirable
- MR license and Forklift ticket is desirable
- A valid QLD C class drivers license is a requirement
