Established for over 70 years, Eric Jones Stairbuilding Group are a leading stairbuilder based in the eastern suburbs, and are currently seeking a Welder - Sheet Metal Worker to work in our Steel workshop.
Duties & Responsibilities -
- Ability to read drawings/plans and specifications
- Ability to work with steel and stainless steel
- Cutting and Grinding
- MIG, TIG and ARC welding of steel frames
- Stainless polishing
- Use of hand and power tools
- Assist in Installation of stairs, balustrades and handrails when required
- Quality control of own work
The candidate must -
- Be reliable
- Able to work under minimal supervision
- Have a great eye for detail, and quality
Skills & Experience -
- Completed trade apprenticeship or have extensive industry experience
- Stair building experience preferred but not essential
