Design & Construct are currently seeking a Wood Machinist for one of Australia's leading commercial Fit-Out company's.

Job Description
As a wood machinist, you will be expected to complete the following duties:

• Reading either drawings or 'cutting lists' and have the ability to complete work based of these drawings
• Hot and cold pressing of timber
• Cutting and measuring of timber
• Use of planers, spindle moulders and edge banders and etching/engraving machinery

The Successful Applicant
You will be a highly motivated machinist with the ability to go above the call of duty when needed. To be successful, you will possess the following qualities:

• Current trade certificate with a trade relating to this industry
• Forklift license (highly desirable)
• Effective organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Have a strong focus on WH&S
• Basic computer literacy with a focus on MS office (Desirable)
