- Western Sydney based, 6:30am-2pm work hours
- Up to $80K + super
ACRWORLD are working exclusively with a global leader in refrigeration and logistics, with one of the largest networks in the world.
Due to company growth, I am looking for a Maintenance Fitter to work within a team of 6 electricians and fitters in providing preventative and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment and mechanical installations.
This is a key role responsible in day to day maintenance of refrigeration equipment and site facility maintenance throughout the warehouse. The position will report to the Maintenance Team Leader and National Facilities Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Continual review of plant and equipment maintenance effectiveness, reliability and downtime.
- Analyse and make recommendations on when plant equipment has reached end of life and assist with replacements or upgrades
- Day to day handyman/maintenance responsibilities for both equipment and property facilities including roller doors
- Day to day contractor management for all external service providers
- Ensure compliance with the relevant health, safety and environmental requirements
- Assist with daily operations and works including welding, installations, electrical works
ABOUT YOU
- Mechanical/Fitter Trade qualified with 2-3 years related work experience
- Experience managing a range of maintenance trasks including carpentry, mechanical, some paint and patching and ad hoc works as required
- White Card, Forklift License, Working at Heights license - highly advantageous
- Familiar with Computerised Maintenance Management systems such as SAP, or MEX
- Solid mechanical and hard services knowledge
- Solid understanding of OHS within a maintenance service environment
- Confident in Australian Standards, Codes of Practise and legislation within the FM industry
