This is a FIFO positions with an 14/7 roster. This role will suit an experienced technician who can demonstrate their experience around installing, test, service, diagnose and repair Pre-engineered Fire Protection Systems and equipment to Chubb Fire Safety standards. You will work as part of a team to deliver excellence whilst exceeding customer service expectations at every available opportunity.

You will be responsible for conducting the fitting of Chubb PEFS systems to Plant and Machinery in accordance with Chubb Design, Installation and Commissioning manuals

You will be customer orientated and solutions focused. You will assist in growing sales for the business to increase market share.

Due to growth and new contract wins, we are resourcing for experienced Fire technicians to join their team.

Description

Responsibilities

  • Installation of new PEFS systems
  • Upgrade and modifications to existing systems
  • Routine service and maintenance of PEFS systems
  • Fault finding and recharging of PEFS systems
  • Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible and timely manner, using systems including; paper dockets and or hand held technology
  • Participate in stocktakes and be responsible for inventory management
  • Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment, vehicles, product, etc
  • Effectively manage available time and resources, and be proactive in problem solving and troubleshooting, before engaging others.
  • Maximise efficiencies via route planning, time management, stock management, and service delivery via handheld technology.
  • Survey customer machines and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with Chubb Fire Safety procedures and processes in a competitive market at a pre-determined profitable level to Chubb..
  • Identify, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance Chubb Fire Safety procedures and processes
  • Report work progress and performance by completing productivity / key performance indicator (KPI) reports
  • Comply with all company and customer (site) policies, procedures, and processes
  • Attend all scheduled training programs and be flexible and receptive in approach to training and development

Profile

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Min 3 year's experience doing PFES install and maintenance
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
  • Previous FIFO experienced preferred
