Located in Sydney, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Technician with practical service related skills. Current and demonstrable experience in an industry with an electrical or mechanical background is preferable!

To be eligible, you would preferably need a mechanical fitter experience ideally working on vehicles or experience in Auto electrical or vehicle accessory fitouts would be advantageous but not necessary as full training will be provided to the right person. A fully maintained vehicle will be supplied with the role

The Objectives of our Role:

1. Attending customer service calls to test, service, repair, and install onboard vehicle weighing systems
2. Completing accurate customer service reports, time sheets and expense reports.
3. Working as an effective team member across all operations and maintaining a professional personal presentation including ensuring that your company vehicle is clean and tidy.
4. Ensuring that safety is regarded in the highest priority with zero major/lost time injuries. 
5. This is a start up role and full training will be provided to the right person

Who are we looking for?

1. Current and demonstrable experience in a mechanical industry involving testing, servicing, repairing or installing accessories on a variety of different products. 
2. Strong customer services skills, positive and proactive attitude, attention to detail and a solid documentation discipline.
3. A good level of computer literacy with Word and Excel proficiency.
4. Experience in automotive, mechanical or auto electrical desirable.
5. A current drivers license is required
6. Have the ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgement.

Essential Licenses

• Current Driver's License. 
• Heavy Rigid Vehicle License is desirable but not essential (we can assist to get this qualification for the right person).( Note occasional moving vehicles in yard conditions).
• Forklift License (training can be provided to right person)
