HVTC Hunter is an expert in the employment and training of apprentices and trainees in the local region.
During the 48 month apprenticeship you will gain practical experience through on-the-job learning and be supported by formal study with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and gain the nationally accredited qualification of Certificate III Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaker).
Selection Criteria
- A genuine interest in Engineering Fabrication and Boilermaker trades
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and their functions
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and problem solving skills
- An honest, reliable and trustworthy work ethic
- Proven ability to work within a team environment
- Strong safety awareness and knowledge
- P1 manual driver’s licence or above
- WHS Construction Induction (White card)
- Willingness to undertake a Working with Children Check
- Willingness to undertake a National NSW Police Check
