We are looking for a jack-of-all-trades Handyman to work in our fast paced, world class office facility. At Interactive, we take great pride in our newly built Melbourne office we are looking for someone to share the pride.

As our Handyman you will have a strong understanding of both internal and external building work and will be involved in a variety of work including:

• Hands-on internal duties such as lighting, plumbing, door hardware, cupboards, ceilings, plastering and any other odd jobs;
• On tools for external duties including gardening, painting, cleaning and general repair or replacement maintenance;
• Organising specialist contractors, checking and approving their finished works;
• Checking all areas for appearance, function, safety and clear access;
• Some computer and desk work - writing reports, sending emails and documenting workflows

 
To be successful in this role you will: 

• Have previous trade experience in a similar handyman or facilities management based role;
• Have a proven range of trade, fitout, building and construction skills;
• Have experience using Facility Management systems such as Footprints;
• Have working knowledge of best-practice methods;
• Be a self-starter with a diligent and friendly approach;
• Present professionally and communicate well;
• Be happy to get your hands dirty with a desire to produce an excellent, clean and safe job;
• Take instruction and complete tasks on time.
