Your new role
Working in a team environment you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and the repairing of vehicles/trucks. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Test drive and operate trucks
- Technical inspections/ preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Work within a small team environment supporting other team members
- Liaise and work in with contractors and suppliers on site
Skills and experience
To be successful for this position you will be a qualified with the following skills and experience:
- A Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical - Heavy Vehicle
- HR licence
- Waste industry experience is highly regarded
- Experience working with heavy vehicles or heavy plant equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in the waste industry would be advantageous
