THE POSITION
Wilson Security will be delivering Security Services during the cruise shipping season at Station Pier Port Melbourne and are now seeking experienced Maritime Security Screeners who are suitably qualified, self-motivated and professional to meet our client's requirements. The cruise season commences in October 2018 and ends in April 2018. The primary functions of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Screening customers and baggage at security checkpoints
- Efficiently managing traffic flow of customers through the terminal
- Maintaining compliance in all security and safety procedures
- General Maritime Security Guarding duties
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Calm under pressure and a great team player
To be considered for an opportunity with Wilson Security, you MUST be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
- Current holder of an MSIC card (essential) or able to obtain
- Certificate II in Security Operations with (CPPSEC2007A Screen People & CPPSEC2008A Screen Items)
- Current Security License
- Current First Aid Qualification
- Aviation Screening experience would be an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia
