We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Refrigeration Mechanic to join our QLD team based within the Surat Basin.

This role will involve:

• Refrigeration repairs and preventative maintenance on kitchen, wet mess and all room based split system AC and RAC units
• Install, inspect and maintain refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot specialized refrigeration equipment and machinery
• Test lines, components and connections using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment
• Keep up to date with advances and developments in refrigeration sector
• Ensure that work is executed to a high standard, quality and completed in a timely manner
• Perform routine maintenance and repair work of a non-trade nature including basic locksmith and carpentry
• All other duties as requested

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Unrestricted Australian manual drivers licence
• Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• QLD Refrigeration Mechanic Licence 
• Long term servicing and maintenance of air-conditioning systems with a solid installation background
• Experience with static site work e.g. service work on air-conditioning systems for hospitals. shopping centres. large motels, retirement villages. other mine site villages and towns.  
• Artic licence QLD
• Restricted electrical licence QLD
• Forklift Licence desirable
