The Company:
Randstad is partnering with an engineering business that has strong foundations in structural steel fabrication and construction. The strong business name is a reflection of the quality workmanship of their employees and working with some of the major players in the construction sector. Due to strong growth plans and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking for more employees to join their team.
Your future position:
As a highly experienced boilermaker, you will play a major role in the success of the company as it will be your quality work that secures the customers requirements. It is for this reason you will be required to follow the project specifications to a tee and work effectively within a team environment.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Your day to day duties will involve but are not limited to;
- Construct, repair and maintain equipment
- Understanding drawings and specifications
- Working to Welding standards and ensuring no re-works
- Work well within a team environment and assist other members of the team
- Understanding safety requirements
Qualifications and experience:
- Trade qualification - Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent
- Ideally hold an Overhead crane & Rigging ticket
- Strong communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- Ability to pass a pre - employment medical
