Position Purpose:
JCB CEA in WA is looking for a Service Technician to help service and repair both new and used equipment in the workshop, in an efficient and timely manner..
Principle Accountabilities:
- Servicing and maintaining machinery under warranty.
- All online training modules are completed and maintained as needed.
- Diagnose Hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults.
- Uploading of all data logs, computers, pictures and other relevant information.
- Diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service.
- Ensuring machinery is serviced as per JCB guidelines and carried out in a timely manner.
- Ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and customers as well as reporting any safety incidents or concerns to the Service Manager.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to maintain construction equipment and machinery.
- Excellent customer service focus.
- Trade qualifications including Mechanical, Hydraulic, Auto Electrical.
- Must have ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend solutions.
- Must have Industry experience in Heavy Plant Equipment.
- Self-Starter with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Positive can-do attitude.
