Job tasks and responsibilities
Due to our success in securing some new long-term service and maintenance contracts within our service department we have an opportunity for a trade qualified electrician or a suitably experienced Electrical trade assisted with extensive fire protection knowledge to join our team.
the core responsibilities of the position are:
- repairs and maintenance fire alarm EWIS and emergency and Exit light systems.
- Inspection and testing of fire alarm EWIS and emergency and Exit light systems sprinkler pumps and other fire service disciplines
- programming commissioning and diagnosis of fire systemin
- you will also be required to work on minor and project works installing and commissioning fire systems
- provide exceptional levels of customer service liaising with clients to coordinate and schedule works
- have current NSW construction induction
- have current drivers licence
- available to be on call after hours call roster
- understanding of Australian standards
Skills and experience
- We are after a licenced electrician or a fire service technician with extensive experience and knowledge of dry fire systems,
- capable of fault diagnosis programming commissioning and maintaining a variety of FIP brands and models
- willing to carry out other fire related services and learn all aspects of the fire protection service industry,
- prior experience in self-management and coordination and scheduling of other staff and working in a team with other leaders
