Total Work Solutions is now looking for a Workshop Supervisor to provide mentoring and leadership to a dynamic and hard working service and repair workshop team.
Our client works within the heavy vehicle manufacturing industry. Due to its rapid growth the Service & Repairs team is now looking for a supervisor to help and mange the workshop for an afternoon shift.
The Role:
- Coordinate and supervise a facility which maintains and services heavy transport vehicles in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure departmental work duties fulfil the highest quality level and ensures complete customer satisfaction.
- Review current work processes and develop/implement improvements
- Ensure a safe workplace and work practices at all times
- Contribute ideas for alternative repair techniques and workshop operations that will improve efficiency, quality and safety
Relevant Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of reliability and follow-through
- Relevant truck MR/HR license (HC license is advantageous)
Relevant Qualifications
- Technical Trade qualification (Mechanic)
- At least 3 years of relevant trade experience
- At least 3 years team leadership experience
