Mackay City Auto Group is part of the Pickering’s Auto Group Company, it’s a family owned and operated multi-franchise car dealership. Mackay City Auto Group is a multi-franchise new and used car dealership based in Mackay. We are building our business and working towards hiring a dynamic team to provide exceptional customer service to the motorists in Mackay and surrounding area.
We sell and service the following brands: Ford, Land Rover, Range Rover, Volkswagen, Kia, Suzuki, Fiat, Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Alfa Romeo, and Prestige. We are a true “One Stop Automotive Shop”. Additionally we operate 2 pre-owned used vehicle yards, stocking a selection of quality vehicles.
We currently have positions available for experienced Motor mechanics to join the team.
What are we looking for?
This position would be suited to a highly motivated team player who has previous experience working within a busy workshop. With strong interpersonal skills you will be proactive in your daily responsibilities and have the ability to work unsupervised. To be successful within this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Demonstrated experience of service/repairs/overhauls to multiple vehicle franchises;
- Demonstrated diagnostic experience;
- Trade qualifications in Light Vehicle Mechanical;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills;
- QLD C Class Drivers Licence.
