The Role
FEDC is seeking a supervisor or manager, preferably with a utility arboriculture background to drive safety, productivity and compliance across it powerline vegetation management operations in the greater Taree area on the NSW Mid North Coast. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you would be responsible for the day-to-day management of up to 30 staff and subcontractors, assisting with the management of an established depot and workshop, as well as engaging and liaising with our client and other stakeholders.

Selection Criteria
You will have previous experience in a supervisory or operations role, preferably in the vegetation management or utilities industries and be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:
- an ability to complete work on time and on budget;
- strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements;
- experience in effectively managing and engaging with staff, land owners, clients and other stakeholders;
- experience undertaking process audits and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements;
- sound MS Office skills as well as a proficiency with technology, including iPads;
- a willingness to work flexible hours including living away; and
- a history of consistent and reliable employment.
The following experience and qualifications would also be highly regarded:
- relevant electrical/utilities authorisations and tickets;
- an unrestricted medium rigid (MR) licence;
- arboriculture qualifications.
This role is based out of FEDC's Taree depot, with daily local travel required. Competitive remuneration and a fully maintained vehicle is attached to this position.
