• Based in our Ballarat depot

We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Workshop Mechanic to be based in our Ballarat Facility. You will carry out servicing, repairs, plant inspections and assessment, detailing of light to heavy vehicles.

You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties in a customer focused manner. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.

As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Be trade qualified with appropriate relevant experience
• Manual HR license
• Perform effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipment
• Ability to work unsupervised when required
• Possess the capacity and willingness to be "hands on"
• Be experienced in scheduling servicing of both passenger and heavy vehicles
• Carry out scheduled maintenance in a timely and effective manner
• Have excellent organizational, communication and reporting skills
• Have good computer skills
• Demonstrate a sound awareness of OH&S management principles
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
