We are a market leader for automatic gate service and installations in the Greater Sydney.

Your Opportunity:

Continued growth in our well-established business provides the opportunity to join us in a full-time role as a Service/Installation Technician. The role will primarily carry out Preventative Maintenance, Breakdown repairs, and installation works on automatic gate systems.

Experience in this industry is desirable, however we will provide training and support to candidates with transferable skills.  This may include experience in trades such as electronics, electrician, fabrication / welding, maintenance fitter, mechanic or a demonstrated aptitude for working on electro-mechanical equipment. You must be able to use an iPad with our service software to manage and report your jobs.

Work is mainly in the Sydney area; although some work in regional NSW may be required from time to time.

A fully maintained and stocked vehicle, mobile phone and company uniforms are supplied to assist you in undertaking your new role.

What we expect:

• Current Drivers licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of electrical safety principles.
• Relevant Product and industry knowledge is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 3rd/4th year electrical apprentices are encouraged to apply.

Please note: As a pre-requisite for this role all candidates need to be able to prove they are an Australian Citizen and hold a current Drivers Licence. Candidates will also be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug screen, as well as a National Criminal Record Check, and Working with Children Clearance Check.
