For the last 30 years, TISCA has been specialising in the sale, servicing and design of leading agricultural machines and implements. TISCA’s current work capacity ranges from agricultural implements, to mowers and tractors, civil construction machines and rail height limiters. TISCA also has a dry hire business for heavy earthmoving machineries. TISCA has a strong reputation of high customer service level.
Purpose: This position will manage the workshop, which assembles new machines, repairs and services existing machines and heavy vehicles, and builds prototypes in close cooperation with the technical design team. boilermakers and fitters and is the first point of contact for all customers with the need of service or repair. The Workshop Manager is leading a team of technicians, boilermakers and fitters and is the first point of contact for all customers with the need of service or repair.
The ability to drive continuous improvement, maintain and improve OH & S, and set and achieve targets to maintain workshop cohesion and culture is crucial to the success of the Workshop Manager. The position of the Workshop Manager is also required to co-ordinate resources and to liaise with internal and external key contacts to drive change whilst ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high quality standard.

Reports to: Business Manager
Key Accountabilities:
- Communicate with clients, externally and internally, and proactive customer support
- Performance manage the workshop team
- Create and execute the production/service plan and control the workshop. Manage the day-to-day operation
- Quality check for all services provided
- Organise the workshop and manage the workshop team
- Quoting and invoicing for all jobs
- Driving constant improvement programs that support opportunities to improve all aspects of the workshop and business.
Skills and Experience:
- 3 years + managing a team, workshop and driving change
- Diesel fitter/technician preferred
- Strong Customer Service inclination and communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- High capability of planning and organisational skills
- Computer skills - automotive workshop software; parts management and email.
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of OH & S requirements preferred.
