General Freight Transport Company based in Yatala Queensland requires a Diesel Mechanic for the servicing and maintenance of our fleet of Kenworth/Mack/Freightliner Prime Movers and flat top semi trailer fleet.
Hours of work are Tuesday to Saturday between 6.00am and 6.00pm negotiable.
This is a newly created position due to our increasing fleet, and is within a small team of mechanics. New Workshop and site.
This position is permanent, after a probationary period. Would consider applicant that is not qualified but has the relevant experience. The successful applicant will have good communication skills, the ability to show initiative, and must be flexible and resourceful. Accurate record keeping is also required for NHVR Maintenance Accreditation.
